Position: Security Officer, full time & part time
Rate of Pay: $8.00 per hour, will increase to $9.05 after probation
Supervisor: Jim Urness, Security Manager
Responsibilities:
Provide general patrol of interior and perimeter of Fond-du-Luth Casino.
Provides first aid as needed to customers and/or employees.
Protects Casino assets.
Report all incidents and conditions requiring correction.
Responsible for notification of appropriate emergency agencies in the event of an emergency.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an approved, accredited law enforcement training program is desired.
Skill in observation, assessment and management of Casino employees and patrons.
A strong understanding and knowledge of the laws of the United States and State of Minnesota
Incumbent is subject to bonding, security checks, and other pre-employment screening requirement.
Subject to drug testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Employee Drug and Alcohol Policy.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged standing and walking required.
Subject to indoor and outside environmental conditions. Ability and willingness to work in a smoking environment.
Strong communication skills required.
