POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

SHUTTLE BUS DRIVER

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operates casino bus on assigned routes to transport casino customers to and from the casino and designated pick up and drop off locations. Greets customers as they board and depart the bus. If necessary, assists customers on and off the bus. Keeps the bus interior clean. Conducts proper daily pre-trip inspections of the bus. Coordinates the use of other Fond du Lac vehicles when the bus is in for repairs or unavailable. Complies with local traffic regulations. Works as a valet parking attendant when not on a bus assignment. Other duties as assigned.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including smoking. Prolonged sitting while operating the vehicle is required; prolonged standing required; walking required. Must be able to physically assist customers as necessary.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a valid Class B Driver’s License with a passenger endorsement at all times. The incumbent must immediately report any change in the status of their driver's license to the supervisor, the personnel office, and the security manager. Ability to relate well with the public is required. Ability to communicate effectively is required. Ability to operate an automatic and manual transmission is required. First aid and CPR training is desired. Knowledge of locations and addresses in the local community is desired. Operations are conducted 24 hours a day, seven days a week and on holidays. The incumbent must be available to work all shifts. Incumbent is subject to bonding, security checks, post accident, return to duty, follow-up, random drug testing, and other pre-employment screening requirements.

 

HOURS: Shift Work. Shift to be determined at time of hire.

Salary: $10.50 per hour             FT Positions Available
