POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

CASINO GIFT SHOP CLERK

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conducts sale of all gift shop items.  Responsible for accurate handling of all monies in their charge.  Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of stock and able to assist customers with any issue or questions.  Completes any paperwork required.  Keeps accurate logs of transactions as necessary.  Is informed of any current casino promotions involving gift ship items.  Maintains a neat and orderly work area.

  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.  Subject to inside environmental conditions, including work in a smoking environment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Cash handling experience is required.  Strong mathematical aptitude is desired.  Ability to operate a calculator, adding machines, and cash register.  Ability to relate well with the public.  Ability to communicate effectively orally is desired

 

HOURS:            Shift Work.  Shift to be determined at time of hire.

Salary: $6.10 per hour                                               FT and PT Positions Available
