Artifacts

Native people have inhabited the lakes area of Minnesota for thousands of years. Mr. & Mrs. Robert Eacobbaci found these arrowheads in the Big Sandy Lake vicinity in the 1960’s. The stone arrowheads date back to 10,000 A.D. and the copper axe and arrowhead are of a later date. The pipe bowl is most likely Micmac in origin and possibly traveled to this area by trade routes.
