Cancer Prevention
Cancer is a major problem for American Indian communities. This program provides education on all aspects of cancer, promotes cancer screening, and links people with cancer and their caregivers to supportive resources. Cancer Researchers don’t have enough information about what contributes to cancer in American Indians or what interventions might help to reduce cancer in the population. This program helps gather more information and form partnerships to address these areas for the Fond du Lac community.

Diabetes Prevention ("On the Move")
Exercise classes, food preparation classes and client information designed to promote awareness of diabetes and to prevent diabetes in people at risk to develop it. Classes are made fun through group participation and incentives. Fitness classes include yoga, stretching, weight lifting, walking and more.
