Dear Ms. Sherri’s Kindergarten Families, 4/9/10

• We will begin our new theme next week: Fur & Feathers. In this unit, we will talk about caring for our pets and about other animals in our world. A detailed note is attached.
• We finished our #15 Shared Story: The Fin in the Water. This book will come home on Monday with a Read & Respond bookmark. Our new #16 Shared Story for next week is called Peg’s Ducks.
• In Math, we practiced adding and subtracting with numbers to 10. Next week, we will learn about whole and parts. Also, please continue to play Store with us at home. Have us practice “buying” things for 20c and under with pennies, nickels, and dimes.
