Miigwech for those of you that attended conferences. I was so glad to talk with everyone. In our SFA reading curriculum we have just finished all our alphabet sounds! Things are moving right along. In about two weeks we will be starting our Read and Response. This is where the students get books to take home and are required to read each night for 20 minutes. More will be detailed later on this process. We have been working hard on the “say it fast” and “break it down.”

• Upcoming-we will be sending home scholastic book orders.
• Please dress for the weather as it will be getting colder and with the snow here students NEED to have boots, snow pants, hats and mittens.
• With the flu season here, please do not send your child to school if s/he is not feeling well. We have had many children out with the stomach flu!
• Continue on with proper hand washing when away from school.

Please mark your child’s snow pants, mittens & boots, many our children have these same exact items.
