Homework

Outlined below is a brief overview of homework expectations for 2nd grade…

*Second graders are expected to read for at least 20 minutes daily. Along with this reading, “Success for All” homework must also be completed, signed, and returned on a daily basis.

*On Monday, spelling lists are sent home. Please keep these in a safe place and remind your child to spend time studying them every night. Final tests are the last day of each week.

*Math homework is sent home periodically throughout the week. These sheets are an important review of the concepts we are working on in class. Please make sure they are completed and returned. This work is graded.

It is very important that homework is taken seriously. Second grade is the time where responsibility is emphasized. Please help your child get into the routine of completing and returning homework so they can find success in second grade. Miigwech!
