It is so hard to believe that the summer is already gone! Where does the time go?

I would like to welcome you and your child to 1st grade. My name is Joy Jones. This is my ninth year of teaching 1st grade at FDL Ojibwe School. I have numerous years teaching in a variety of states, schools, and grades. Last spring, I graduated from UWS Superior with a degree of Master of Science in Education. I am married and have two children. My family and I live in Sawyer, where I was born and raised.

On the back, I have a 1st grade supply list. If you can purchase all or some of the items for your child, it would be much appreciated. Also attached, I have the classroom rules and consequences. Please read it and discuss it with your child. Please sign and return it to school with your child.
