These are the rules
of our classroom. They will be in effect at all times:
- Work quietly. Do not disturb others who are
working.
- Use inside voices in the classroom.
- When the teacher is talking, be quiet and
listen.
- Follow directions the first time they are
given.
- Raise your hand and wait to be called on
before speaking.
- Respect everyone. Treat them with kindness
in your words and actions.
- Don’t hit, kick, or touch anyone else with
your hands, your feet, or any other object.
- Always walk in the classroom and halls.
Consequences:
All students’ start with a
green color each day. The first
time students break a rule: Warning.
Second time: Color change to
blue and 5 minutes taken off of
free time.
Third time: Color change to
yellow and 10 minutes taken off of free time.
Fourth time: Color change to
orange and 15 minutes taken off
of free time.
Fifth time: Color change to
red and student is likely to
miss all of free time and could receive a write up.
Rewards:
Students who comply with the rules will
receive praises and positive conduct marks on report card. All
students who stay on the green color at the end of the day will get
a chance for the Behavior Chance Can.
I have discussed these rules with the class
and I will continue to discuss these rules throughout the school
year. Please discuss them with you child, sign, and return the form
from the next page.
