Mrs. Anna's 7th Grade Classroom
Introduction

Boozhoo!

Welcome to seventh grade! I am really excited to be back for my third year here at Fond du Lac. I have had the unique opportunity and pleasure to moving up from 5th grade to 7th grade, working with and really getting to know this class.

A little bit about me: my name is Mrs. Anna Clark. I grew up in McGregor and now currently live in Floodwood with my husband AJ, our daughter Ava, and our two dogs; Ellie May and Lilly. I love the outdoors, music and traveling. We just bought our first piece of land and will be building our new home in the spring.

I graduated in May of 2008 from Bemidji State University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have worked in a number of classrooms and a variety of grades.

Our class is a little different this year. In the past when students enter seventh grade, they are on a bell schedule, rotating classrooms for different subjects. This year, however, our seventh and eighth grade classes have been put into self contained rooms. We have our core subjects in our classroom, and then students get to leave for Art, Computers and Circle Time. Ojibwe language and Health are also taught in our classroom. We have a very large class this year, but students adjusting well.

This year we received a lot of new technology throughout the school. Classrooms have brand new computers as well as a smart board, which I use for most of my lessons. Along with having all of this new technology, students and parents can access grades, missing assignments, attendance, etc through the parent portal. Students have all been given a login and password and will be able to access these tools to better help them succeed.

I am really looking forward to the school year ahead and working with your child. If you have any questions, feel free to stop by. I can also be reached at 878-7227 or by email annaclark@fdlrez.com
