Rules and Expectations

For each rule broken, the student will write an expectation.

1st time rule is broken = 2 sentences
2nd time rule is broken = 5 sentences
3rd time rule is broken = Write-up, ISS, and phone call home.

Each student, who does not have to write a sentence, will receive a daily star. After 10 stars, the student will receive one point for our Auction.

The students each need 10 auction points to enter the auction and bid on fabulous prizes.

This system is based on rewarding positive behavior.

The sentences students will be writing are done in a positive manner.

For example:

I now know I am expected to line up quietly.

Or,

I now know I am expected to raise my hand and wait to be called on before I can talk.

We are expecting the students to take responsibility of their own actions to maintain a positive learning environment. Finally, we are using this system to reduce time spent in ISS.
