Welcome to the 8th Grade. My name is Mr. Anderson. Some of you may know me from teaching 3rd grade the past five years. This year, I will be teaching the 8th grade. It will be interesting to see former students and how much they have changed since the 3rd grade.

As the year progresses, we will be doing several activities relating to the Ojibwe Culture and tied to the realms of Science, Math, Reading, and Social Studies. As always, you are more than welcome to participate or share ideas. Just please contact me prior to an activity you want to attend or share.

I am a firm believer in classroom management so all students can gain as much knowledge as possible without disruptions or distractions. Any help with reminders to the students coming from you and the community will also have an important impact on the class. When you have a chance, please take a look through our Ojibwe School Policies in the Handbook, which should have been provided to you. If one hasn’t been provided, please contact the school.
