Say "Boozhoo" (Hello) to Lydia 

Lydia is wearing a Fancy Shawl outfit.  Her dress is made of a pink fabric, accented by a floral embroidered yoke with green fringes.  

Her shoulders are draped with a white shawl.  The shawl symbolizes a female butterfly.  This butterfly lost her mate and wrapped herself into a cocoon (the shawl).  

Lydia is also wearing pink embroidered leggings and slip-on buckskin moccasins.  Fancy Shawl outfits may also be made of calico, velvet, or buckskin.  

The Fancy Shawl Dancers move like butterflies.  They use fancy twirls and fast footwork, while changing with the beat of the drum.
