Library Media Center

The Fond du Lac Ojibwe School Library Media Center, is a full-service, state-of-the-art facility.  With over 14 thousand items in its collections, it is well equipped to serve its Early 5 through Grade 12 population of over 300 students.

The LMC is divided into two large areas, one for elementary through grade 6 students, and one for middle and high school students.  We divide our collection into Easy books, elementary books, and young adult books, and we further divide the books into elementary and secondary Native American collections.

In addition to 10 computers available to students, the LMC also houses the equipment for the school-wide video network, including live TV, and video playback.

But students are what we’re all about. Library paraprofessional Mary Ann Blacketter works with each elementary class twice a week, as well as answering research questions from secondary students.
