OJIBWE SCHOOL MISSION
STATEMENT
In order to survive both
as a people and a culture, we must return full circle to our traditional
manner of education. Traditional Anishinaabe society was outcome based
and results oriented. Our society was community focused, it was so in
order to survive.
BELIEF STATEMENT
The Fond du Lac
Reservation Ojibwe Schools
are dedicated to providing a quality
education, which focuses on integrating the American Indian culture into
all students' learning experiences. Every learner will have the
opportunity to be challenged, to succeed, and to be prepared for the
future. Parents, staff, community, and students will demonstrate the
highest level of expectations for themselves and the school.
The FDL Ojibwe School Powwow will be held on September 10, 2010, at
the OJS Gym. The Feast will be held at 5:00 pm, and the Grand Entry at
6:00 pm. See you there! Click here for
details.
| The Ojibwe School is holding a Green School Recycling
Fundraiser and needs your help! The school can earn cash for each
item donated. The items needed are used/broken jewelry and
consumer electronics. Click here
