Fond du Lac FACE Programs

The mission of the FACE program is to attend to the National America 2000 Educational Goals and Indian America 2000+ Educational Goals in the areas of;

  • School Readiness

  • High School Completion

  • Student Achievement and Citizenship

  • Adult Literacy and Lifelong Learning

  • Safe, Disciplined, and Drug Free Schools

  • Tribal Government

  • Language and Culture

Our parent educators continue to visit families providing fun and educational developmental materials for parents and their children. They serve families who are prenatal or have a child through the age of three.

In the Center Based FACE Program, children and their family member attend school together, participating in Preschool, Adult Education, PACT Time (Parent and Child Together) and Parent Time. The preschool program is for children ages three to five years old. We also have families that participate in FACE with a child attending the Fond du Lac Ojibwe School grades Early Five through Third. The adults then go into their child’s classroom at the Ojibwe School to complete their PACT Time. It is a great opportunity for adults to complete their education, high school / GED or college while teaching their child the importance of education. If an adult has already completed their educational goals, FACE staff can continue to assist and support them throughout many other personal and professional goals. FACE can provide parenting skills, computer skills, or simply a place for adults and children to come together and better their lives.
